MERCI CELEBRATES 20TH TREES OF ENCHANTMENT


MERCI will hold its annual fundraiser Trees of Enchantment Brunch on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Luminaries Restaurant, 3500 Ramona Boulevard in Monterey Park. Celebrating 20 years of Trees of Enchantment with 20 themed decorated Christmas trees, with gifts valued at least $250.00 under the tree; each tree is sponsored by local service clubs, individuals, and businesses.  The Rotary Club of Monterey Park is sponsoring “The Travel Tree” which includes 2 round-trip tickets anywhere Southwest Airlines Flies.  Southern California Edison delights us with their “Twinkle-Twinkle” Tree, which offers outdoor Christmas display lights for your home.

Sponsorships for Trees are $375.00.  Our Winter Wonderland Benefactor that includes a table of 10, tree sponsorship and a full-page ad in the program for $1500.  Advertising in the program begins at $100.00 for a business card up to $1000. Tables of 10 are $500.00.  We have several options to fit your budget! All sponsors will be featured in our program on the day of the event. Tickets for our event are: Adults $50.00, Children (5-12) $30.00 with under 5 years old are free.

All proceeds go to continue our work in supporting people with developmental disabilities in MERCI’s five programs. MERCI was founded in 1955 in Monterey Park when families had few options for the education of their developmentally disabled children.  Today MERCI services 105 people in 22 cities in the West San Gabriel Valley and East Los Angeles.
