THE HISTORY OF CHOCOLATE—WITH TASTINGS
The History of Chocolate (with tastings for 100 only) will be presented by Dr. Lee Scott Theisen on Saturday, July 25 from 10- 11 a.m. in Reese Hall at the Alhambra Civic Center Library, 101 South First Street in Alhambra.
This community service program, sponsored by Soroptimist International of Alhambra San Gabriel San Marino, and the Alhambra Historical Society, is free—donations gratefully accepted. Reservations are required as the tastings are limited to 100 participants. Reservations can be made at www.sialhambra.org, or with the Alhambra Historical Society by calling 626 300 8845.
Information and membership applications will be available from both organizations for those interested. Also, the Historical Society will have a display of items from their museum.
Only Fair Trade Chocolate is used.
