On January 26th, the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC), Greater Pasadena Area Chapter, announced its endorsement of Teresa Real Sebastian for re-election to the Monterey Park City Council.

President Berjouhi Koukeyan said, “With her background in the law, real estate and grassroots public service, Teresa brings public policy wisdom and hands-on experience to her local community and regional service. She is a former mayor, and currently the only woman serving on the City Council.  NWPC of the Greater Pasadena Area is proud to endorse Teresa Real Sebastian for re-election to the Monterey Park City Council.”

For Rosemead City Council

On January 26th, the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC), Greater Pasadena Area Chapter, announced its endorsement of Janet Chin for Rosemead City Council.

President Berjouhi Koukeyan said, “Janet has an extensive background in education planning, as well as local and regional community programs. She has served as a Governing Member of both the Garvey School Board and the Chamber of Commerce in Rosemead, and a volunteer on the city Traffic Commission and Community Emergency Response Team.  She was the founder of the Rosemead Youth Leadership Center.  She brings valuable hands-on experience and policy insights to the City.  NWPC of the Greater Pasadena Area is proud to endorse Janet Chin for election to the Rosemead City Council.”

FOR SAN GABRIEL CITY COUNCIL

On January 26th, the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC), Greater Pasadena Area chapter, announced its endorsement of Denise Menchaca for San Gabriel City Council.

Chapter president Berjouhi Koukeyan said, “Denise is a successful small business owner with an extensive background in community and educational programs through her eight year service on the San Gabriel School Board and a variety of other civic organizations.  NWPC is proud to endorse Denise Menchaca who will bring her record of leadership, community commitment, and business acumen to the San Gabriel City Council.”

The National Women’s Political Caucus is a multi-partisan grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political process and creating a true women’s political power base to achieve equality for all women. NWPC recruits, trains and supports pro-choice women candidates for elected and appointed offices at all levels of government regardless of party affiliation.
